Worship
Saturday - At 6:00 PM on Saturday evenings, we have an informal service held in our Wesley Hall (the building next to the church). This service is led mostly by members of the church and features both cherished hymns and praise music.
Sunday - At 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings, we gather for worship in the sanctuary. This service features our rich tradition of Methodist hymns and familiar rituals. We have a volunteer choir that leads and inspires congregational singing.
We will have an Ash Wednesday Service on February 18 at 5:00 PM. We will have a Maundy Thursday Service on April 2 at 5:00 PM. The Good Friday Service is at 11:00 AM, and then the church will be open for prayer from noon to 3 PM. There will not be a Praise & Worship Service on Saturday night, April 4. There will be an Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 AM in the sanctuary on Easter morning, April 5. And our main Easter Celebration will be at 9:30 AM in the sanctuary.
Sacraments – United Methodists observe two holy sacraments, Communion & Baptism. Holy Communion is celebrated once a month on the first Saturday, and first Sunday of each month. We serve bread and grape juice, and gluten-free bread is available. Baptisms are open to anyone who desires to be baptized. You may select sprinkling, pouring or immersion for your baptism. Parents may request their infants or children be baptized as well. If you have been baptized in another Christian church, you don’t need to be baptized again.
