Missions & Outreach
Millville United Methodist Church is really the people who worship GOD in or because of this fellowship and who want to know more about the teachings of Jesus. Regardless of how you worship with us, the folks of Millville look forward to seeing you. If you have not visited with us before and you’re looking for a loving spiritual home, we would love to have you join us some time soon. Everyone is welcome to any and all of our activities.
“The building is small, but our hearts are LARGE” The addition of Wesley Hall, the building next to the sanctuary, has allowed us to expand our missions. This in turn has allowed Millville to increase in size. Our missions allow Millville to serve those that are in need. The following is a list of our current outreach ministries.
Food Bank – Collections of food for those that would go hungry. We gather food for a local food pantry.
Visits – We provide short-term assistance with meals and visits during a sickness, or after a surgery or an injury.
Prayer – You may make prayer requests, and/or serve in one of these prayer ministries:
- PRAYER CHAIN – Members on the Prayer Chain pray for needs and concerns as soon as they learn of the request.
- PRAYER LIST – The church maintains a list of those who have on-going prayer needs.
- PRAYER SHAWL - A ministry where individuals share prayer and fellowship while creating small ‘prayer shawls’ to be given in prayer to those in need.
Partnerships – Millville partners with Lord Baltimore Elementary School in a variety of ways including taking up special offerings to assist children in need who are students of the school.
