FOOD BANK
Don't forget, all of us need food throughout the entire year. When someone doesn't have it, the situation can become a threat to their life. The most vulnerable are Seniors and Children.
Are you aware, that in some cases, food is sent home from school with children to insure they have something to eat for the weekend. However, when children are not in school, they do not even get school lunches and/or breakfasts. This is the situation when school is closed for any reason, i.e. holidays, bad weather, conferences, etc. During the summer, when school is not in session is a difficult time over an extended period. For Seniors living alone, food is of concern on a daily basis. You can help by buying an extra can of whatever you are having and donating it to the FOOD BANK mission. Leave it in the Sanctuary and it will get to those in need. Thank you for your generosity.
